Gait Assessment Tool
Assess your walking gait using simple self-tests. These metrics help identify asymmetries, monitor recovery from injury, or track improvements in walking efficiency.
1. Gait Speed Test (4-Meter Walk)
Walk 4 meters at your comfortable pace. Time yourself from start to finish.
seconds
2. Cadence Test (60-Second Count)
Walk at your normal pace for 60 seconds. Count your steps.
steps
3. Gait Symmetry Index (Step Length)
Measure step length for each leg (heel to heel). You can use tape measure on a flat surface.

Reference Values
Gait Speed (Healthy Adults)
| <0.60 m/s | Severely impaired |
| 0.60-0.80 m/s | Moderately impaired |
| 0.80-1.00 m/s | Mildly impaired |
| 1.00-1.20 m/s | Functional threshold (community mobility) |
| 1.20-1.40 m/s | Good functional capacity |
| >1.40 m/s | Excellent capacity |
Gait Symmetry Index
| <2% | Excellent symmetry (healthy young adults) |
| 2-5% | Good symmetry (normal variation) |
| 5-10% | Mild asymmetry (monitor) |
| 10-20% | Moderate asymmetry (PT consultation recommended) |
| >20% | Severe asymmetry (medical evaluation needed) |
Procjena hoda: brzina, simetrija, samoprovjera kadence
